"AXED" SCAD Savannah 2020 Animation Spring Showcase Opening Short
- 10 Week project, original concept pitched by Aly O'Neal
- collaborating in a small team in 10 weeks to create the entire short (Winter 2020)
- I made concept designs for characters, prop, and helped overall design
- I did 2D character animation in Toonboom Harmony
Pre- Production Work

On the concept team I explored a lot of different color palettes, for the characters and the backgrounds. I always try to push for something a little more vibrant and unique.

I worked closesly with the art director, Keaton Harper, as well as the rest of the concept team, and helped make decisions when it came to character design finalization and colors.

For this progress shot in Toonboom Harmony, I worked with effects animator Drew Stadler, and I did the character animations in the foreground to his incredible effects in the background

For the other progress shot, I worked with producer Domenic Romano, animation supervisor Aly O'Neal, and professor John Webber to refine the timing and posing of my shot

Post-Production Work
In post production, I was responsible for textures to be overlayed over 3D objects and layers in the opening

I painted these tree textures over 3D models by Katelin Rank.

I worked closely with art director Keaton Harper to finalize the designs
